support programs and fiscal measures and acts as a business bank
in order to promote the cultural and communications industries.
In its capacity as an agent of the Québec government, it
administers a budget of some CAN $200 million a year, which is
allocated to the production, dissemination and exporting of Québec
cultural products.

des travailleurs du Québec (FTQ), an investment fund with
net assets of nearly CAN $3 billion, is actively fostering Québec's
economic development. The Fonds has 350,000 shareholders and has
