The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles administers support programs and fiscal measures and acts as a business bank in order to promote the cultural and communications industries. In its capacity as an agent of the Québec government, it administers a budget of some CAN $200 million a year, which is allocated to the production, dissemination and exporting of Québec cultural products.

 


The Fonds de solidarité FTQ is an investment fund dedicated to furthering the development of Québec businesses and contributing to job creation and preservation. With some $7 billion in assets, the Fonds has investments in over 2,000 businesses in all activity sectors and in all the regions of Québec.
