The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles administers support programs and fiscal measures and acts as a business bank in order to promote the cultural and communications industries. In its capacity as an agent of the Québec government, it administers a budget of some CAN $200 million a year, which is allocated to the production, dissemination and exporting of Québec cultural products.

 


The Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (FTQ), an investment fund with net assets of nearly CAN $3 billion, is actively fostering Québec's economic development.
